Stock Underpass on SH60

The Dos Rios Farming Partnership, located approximately 2.5km south of Takaka Township, installed an underpass to allow the safe movement of stock, staff, and quad bikes between farm blocks situated on either side of State Highway 60.

The project was over a year in the planning with applications, negotiations, and final permissions from NZTA before the project was able to go ahead beginning of March 2014. The major earthworks and concrete construction were undertaken by Solly's Contractors and finishing work by Frank Byrne - Builders.
