Golden Bay Community Health Viewing Area and Helipad

Golden Bay Community Health has a new and more comfy transition area for patients transported by helicopter, thanks to many local tradies and business people who donated time, materials and money. Including Frank Byrne Builders, Aaron Bensemann (builder), Tony and Janet Rusbatch, ITM, NBS, James Mackay (GB First National), Chambo Digger Hire, Richard Green Ltd, Mike McKenna (builder), GB Digger Hire, Dos Rios Dairy and Sollys Ltd. What is essentially a smooth pathway from the carpark, up through the garden to an elevated concrete viewing area, which has now also provided the Hospital with a safe and smooth landing pad for the Rescue Helicopter to transport patients.
