Aorere River Hydro Tower Upgrade

In 2017 Frank Byrne Builders were contracted by Tasman District Council & Niwa, to replace the existing aged wooden catwalk, install a new stairwell for the hydro monitoring equipment at the Rockville site on the edge of the Aorere River. This site certainly had its challenges due to the height of the structure above the river & the sloping bank access to the tower footings.
