Tata Beach Home

Tata Beach is one of the gems of Golden Bay, and this new home has been a gem for its owners since its completion in 2015. This architecturally designed holiday home for a Christchurch couple is situated on Peninsula Road and designed to take in the stunning views of Tata Beach and the nearby Islands of Ngawhiti & Motu, through the use of tall windows & glass space, as well as the extensive, open decks to the front and north of the living areas.

The project began in July 2014 with the demolition of the existing 1960's bungalow, with as much of these materials recycled by willing recipients. The site was cleared and the project commenced in August. After only a short break for Xmas/New Year, the Team returned to keep the project rolling with exterior cedar cladding and large windows being installed and the garage started. The front living area has floor-to-ceiling windows that take advantage of the amazing views and make good use of passive heating. Clients are very pleased with their new holiday home in Golden Bay.
